Dear City Council,
I am writing to express my DEEP concern about plans for 80 Willow Road.
I have lived in the Willows neighborhood for 20 years and watched the traffic grow. There is ABSOLUTELY no excuse for a tower at 80 Willow Road that will forever change Menlo Park and Palo Alto on the 101 side of town.
I am a strong advocate for infill development and housing close to transit such as CalTrain and understand that modest housing development works there.
However, there will be grid lock beyond measure if a Tower is approved. OR the City will decide they need a new road which will forever destroy what makes this part of Menlo Park the wonderful community it is.
PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW ANYTHING BUT HOUSING THAT FITS INTO THE CHARACTER OF THIS SIDE OF MENLO PARK AND CAN BE ACCOMMODATED BY THE ROADS AND TREES IN TREE CITY!!!
