I would like to make two comments.
First, thank you to everyone on the council and city staff who helped with the gas-powered leaf blower ban, and to the police for their attention to this. In our neighborhood there are a few contractors still using gas, but the majority have switched and its made a big difference. Much appreciated!
Second, could something be done about speeding on Bay Road between Marsh and Ringwood. The new signs with the 25 mph limit have not made any noticeable change. The average speeds are well above the limit, and the tailgating and sometimes passing drivers going at or near the speed limit is the same or worse.
