Council:
Please have at least delayed the removal of this magnificent Stone
Pine at the corner of El Camino and Stone Pine Lane.
Today, the City arborist on an emergency basis has ordered the tree
removed tomorrow.
A large semi-truck (which certainly should have is not allowed on
Stone Pine Lane), got stuck under a branch of the tree this morning,
which has prompted this emergency tree removal.
Surely another opinion on the health of the tree and what other
options are available should be obtained.
This tree I was told.many years ago was planted after being imported
from the 1939 San Francisco Exhibition ('world's fair').
