I am unable to attend the meeting on Tuesday Nov 19th, but wanted to give some input into the plans to build on existing parking lots in downtown Menlo Park. I have resided in Menlo Park for 15 years, but I am also a small business owner whose office is in 770 Menlo Ave. getting rid of the parking for my office building will impact my business as I have people coming to me every hour of every weekday for meetings (I am a psychologist).
I also worry about the construction of low cost housing changing the nature of downtown and honestly will likely move my business back to Palo Alto or Los Altos where I have had offices in the past.
