Good Morning,
It was brought to my attention that the City of Menlo Park intends to designate 3 public parking lots near Oak Grove to 450 +/- low income housing units.
I live within blocks of downtown Menlo Park and was not aware of this proposed development. It appears these meetings have been during the summer months (August 2024) and November (Thanksgiving) with very little notification to the residents of Menlo Park.
I find it hard to believe there have been NO traffic studies done. Downtown Menlo Park is already a heavy trafficked area (especially during school mornings and afternoons).
Please SLOW this project down so we can all be more informed.
