We need more EV chargers in Menlo Park. Please vote yes. We need more downtown too, the existing 3 are always full. 1 is unusable
except for handicap cars which is rarely in use.

·Passenger vehicles are the single biggest source of carbon emissions and air pollution in California.
·To meet our city’s and the state’s climate goals and the Paris Climate Accord and keep our planet habitable, we must move from
gasoline cars to clean alternatives like electric vehicles as quickly as possible.
·Our city is a leader in EV adoption; Menlo Park’s new EV adoption rate is 18% a year and growing fast. We can set an example for
the country by continuing to increase EV adoption rates.
·People in apartments don’t drive EVs because they have nowhere to charge them. Requiring more EV charging in new construction
will encourage further EV adoption.
·Please help us breathe cleaner air and promote a healthier climate by passing the EV ordinance.
