Honorable Mayor and Council Members,
I know that you have a lot on your plate, thus, I ask that you consider this email, at your convenience, when time permits.
Many years ago, the vogue and "in" thing to do was to review a number of city functions to see if they could be done more
efficiently and thus more cost effectively. A BRANDING AND MARKETING COMMITTEE was created, that found many ways to standardize
activities.
Perhaps enough time has passed where it would be sensible to review the program. In my opinion some things are good while others
should be reconsidered. The problem with efforts to create efficiency, is at times we go too far, making things worse, all in the
name of streamlining.
Frankly, I can name at least 10 items that are NO LONGER user friendly. Perhaps you can find others.
Thus, if at some future City Council meeting, you could agendize this item, would be much appreciated. I'm sure that many citizens
will chime in to both compliment and make suggestions for constructive improvements.
Thank you for you service to the community and all that you do, for so many, throughout the year.
