I support the new project at 840 Menlo Ave., Menlo Park. The planning commission approved the design and was impressed with the look of the building.
Draegers has been using the front of this property for a loading zone for over 15 years. Now they oppose construction of a building on this lot because they would lose part of their loading and delivery zone.
WHO EVER HEARD OF A MARKET NOT HAVING THEIR OWN DELIVERY ZONE?
This market is using the public parking lot and the front of 840 Menlo Ave. that is to be developed, as their loading zone. Their recycle containers are in front of the property
2 days a week.
WHY WOULD A CITY IN THE YEAR 2018 ALLOW A MARKET TO CONTINUE OPERATING THIS WAY?
There is a solution. Make Draegers come to the table with a fair offer and clear up this situation. This would help everyone involved.
