Dear City Council,
I am writing to you today not only a 20 year resident of Menlo Park but as a professional here in this city of ours.
When I first heard about the "The New Guild" possibly coming to Menlo Park I felt joy, relief and excitement for our town. As it
is now a real possibility I am hoping you vote YES! YES! know that Menlo Park needs a soul, we need a reboot, a launching pad for
adults, young adults, teens, kids and families to come together and find joy. This is it, this Guild will offer our town a center
and soul we lack and as I work at SafeSpace doing just that for our youth with our fearless team to rebuild our inner minds, the
Guild will rebuild the inner workings of our town that needs to be connected and a place to do just that.
I know that my family will go there to listen to music, see plays, comics and connect with our friends. I know so many that will
stop isolating and go out and connect-Wow can you imagine a town that found platform to bring people together at a time when
people are going more and more inward?
Please vote Yes for this project and for the funding to be done appropriately. Please vote keeping in mind we are in need of
laughter, music, dance, kids enjoying themselves vs. stress, Adults connecting with friends and how cool to do this at a landmark
spot!
My family LOVES this idea and we are 100% in support, so please don't hesitate and yup, Please vote YES!!!!!!
Thank you with all my residential and professional gratitude,Dani
