Elimination of three parking lots in Downtown Menlo Park will kill downtown business in my opinion. Apparently there are no plans for an alternative parking facility; having such plans in place should be a prerequisite to eliminating current spaces. Not every Menlo Park resident or visitor can be a biker, and trying to walk and carry packages is also not feasible.
I know your job is not easy, but please try to find building sites which don’t further disrupt our already fragile shopping area.
