I learned that the City Council will vote whether to replace the downtown parking lots with high-density housing.
I have nothing against high-density housing, but please do something (like install a parking structure) to maintain at least the existing level of parking!
I visit Menlo Park downtown multiple times per week with my car. If the parking goes away, I will have to go elsewhere. I know many others who will have to make this choice. Reducing the parking will for sure reduce visitors to the downtown stores.
Please only vote for a plan which maintains or increases parking availability downtown.
