Council Members,
I live in Los Altos, but Menlo Park is my shopping destination of choice. One reason is the convenient ground level parking lots. I also have a doctor in the downtown area who does not have dedicated parking.
I understand the Housing Element is a big issue and most people protesting werent paying attention when that was being discussed. And yes, we need more housing throughout the area.
That said, you will kill downtown businesses and restaurants if you take away the parking.
Please re-visit housing locations and dont destroy one of the most attractive and welcoming downtowns in the region.
