My parents were long time ( 60+ year) residents of Menlo Park and I grew up there. In 1964 my father had Rachel Bentley do a water color of the Sharon Mansion, which was still standing at the time we moved to Sharon Heights from the Willows.
My mother passed away last year and my brother and I wondered if the city would have somewhere to hang this painting. Since Rachel Bentley had a home and studio in Menlo Park and the Sharon Mansion is no longer standing, we thought you might have an interest. This would be an outright gift, we like the idea of public being able to enjoy the painting rather than selling it to an individual.
Hopefully one of you would know who to refer us to, to see if the City would be interested.
