Dear Council Members:
Living in Palo alto, I just found out about plans to convert parking lots to housing in Menlo Park by reading it in the Daily Post. I am a 93-year old retiree, with some disability, who frequently goes to Menlo Park to see my health providers. I see my dentist several times a year and park in the lot between Crane and University, often having to walk a block with difficulty because of too few handicap parking places. If that lot is removed, I dont know where I would park to see my dentist that is within my walking distance capability. Unless a parking garage is provided to replace that lot, or one open to the public under the new housing, please do not go forward with your housing plan.
