Jennell—
We first wrote to you in September of 2017 telling you of this issue. Because of your lack of action I started to ask people
parking so close to Clayton not to do so. One resident about 2 doors down on the Alameda from Clayton had three cars permanently
parked close to Clayton Drive. I spoke to him and he agreed not to do so, but now others are parking there, and I haven’t been
able to find out who owns these cars.
If you would like me to do so, I can get every resident of Clayton drive to write you a letter which you will have to respond to,
and go to the City council meetings and complain there. Just let me know what I should do next. I have lived on Clayton Drive for
45 years. I recently retired, having served as a senior executive of a well-known bay area company. I wouldn’t be wasting my time
writing to you if there were not an issue here. The home owners on Alameda on either side of Clayton Drive will support it, so
what is the problem?

Hi Jennell,
Well yesterday must have been an exception! The congestion times vary through out the day; however, mornings and evenings are more
congested. Some days there are cars parked 24/7 on the north and south side of ADLP. Attempting to make a left or right turn out
of Clayton can be difficult and dangerous. If the residents at 2108 Clayton rent their guest house, they’ll have to park on the
ADLP and that will block the view to the north. The red painted curb needs to be long enough to allow cars exiting Clayton going
north, to see down to the curve of the road going south as cars come around the corner very quickly going north.
We appreciate your help.
Thank you,
Linda Bonde

What times of day do you typically experience this problem?

Hello Ms. Bonde,
I was just speaking with my supervisor, Diana Shu. She says that you have requested a no parking zone. Unfortunately, I do not
have your application. I apologize if you have already completed the application but if you could please complete the attached
form and send it to me I will look at the requested location and get back to you asap.
I apologize for any inconvenience and I assure you that I will handle this promptly once I receive the application.
Thank you,
