I frequently use this crossing, often with my young grandchildren.
Drivers seem not to notice the caution lights and often fly right through. It does give me the opportunity to teach the grandchildren not to trust lights and to be sure they have eye contact with the driver before entering an intersection.
Either take down the light that gives pedestrians a false belief in safety or do something more effective in getting the attention of drivers.
I think the lights embedded in the road are no longer functioning.
