Dear City Council,
I am writing this evening to offer a potential alternative to repurposing the downtown parking lots for affordable housing, the City Council might consider investigating. If my memory is correct, the City of Menlo Park owns the land where a building and parking lot is located at the intersection of Ravenswood and El Camino Real. The City could investigate selling the land and purchasing another property on El Camino Real, that it could then make available as a mixed use affordable housing site. I believe a site is for sale directly across the street from the building the City owns on El Camino Real.
