Council Members,
At your meeting on Tuesday, I urge you you consider what kind of city manager can lead us forward after many years of process quagmire. I believe - through my experience with our city government - that our city’s culture has become one of “safe process” and hiring consultants to do image-based outreach.
Please give much thought to moving to a more confident government, led from clear goals. This implies a change - a different city manager than our recent experiences.
