Dear Council Members,
An article in the Almanac several months ago indicated that a community member contacted you with regard to the Bay Club not being included in the Menlo Gateway Development. Many community members are questioning how the Health Club adjacent to the hotel and open to hotel guests and the community was changed to Facebook being able to build their own health club. I understand hotel guests can use the facility. The Bay Club was most interested in opening a Club there and the community was excited to have a Bay Club in our town. I feel the community is owed an explanation. Right now, the rumors on the street are that FB and developers are running the show in Menlo Park and are doing what is in their best interest and could care less about the community of Menlo Park.
