I would like to add my voice to this issue. I hear CA politicians and Menlo Park City Council members talk about diversity, equity, and inclusion. A second entrance to the Flood School project would be inline with diversity, equity and inclusion. We need to share the housing opportunity and the additional population of residence in the most fair and equitable manner. By providing a second entrance you will be doing what is fair and most reasonable in providing the new residence at that site with the best possible equal impact on the surrounding neighborhoods.
We would like to welcome these new residents into our neighborhood while also doing our best to maintain the high quality environment we currently live in. The push back on providing a second entrance is baffling to many residents as it seems very unfair to burden one neighborhood with all the impact of this project, when real relief and a more green friendly solution is easily available with a second entrance.
