To Menlo Park City Council Members,
My family and I live at 311 Sheridan, the home next to 320 Sheridan. Last year, our roof caught on fire. We all saw in that moment that Sheridan does not accommodate multiple large vehicles needed during emergencies. It’s a narrow cul de sac. It was never designed for a multi-unit complex entrance. We support the appeal and an alternate entrance/exit to this new complex. My primary concern is safety for new residents of 320 Sheridan and the two neighborhoods bordering this parcel. If a fire broke out or there was an explosion in the new complex, it would pose a threat to many MP residents due to inaccessibility for emergency vehicles.
Thank you for your consideration.
Regards,
Sally, Mark, Jackson, & Elissa Williams
