Dear Council members
Many of you know that I am on the MP Library Foundation as well as the Belle Haven Neighborhood Advisory Committee so it is no
surprise that I whole heartedly support building both libraries.
You have many city projects on your to-do list to prioritize - traffic issues, Ravenswood underpass, parking issues etc. While
those issues may seem pressing because they effect us everyday, I implore you to have a bigger vision for Menlo Park.
To quote our current Librarian of Congress:
There is a hunger in this digital age to hear authors together, to participate in programs, to just be in a place, a community
space.Menlo Park has a chance to bring our libraries into the current century, and we should take this opportunity to do so.
