Park recreation coordinator), but was told to contact City Council.
I would like to see if lights could be installed at Burgess Skatepark.
I am an avid skateboarder, and enjoy going to the Burgess skatepark after school with friends. Like many others, it has become
increasingly difficult for me to find time to skate because of the incredibly early sunset and a demanding school schedule.
Skateboarding is a great way for kids to get exercise and make friends, so lights would benefit the hundreds of riders in the
community.
If you are unsure of the demand and benefit for the community, I can arrange a petition to get a certain number of signatures.
