Dear City Council,
My wife and I live in Linfield Oaks about 4 blocks from the train tracks. The train horn noise is a constant presence in our lives, especially late at night and early in the morning. One of my concerns regarding the Stanford development on El Camino Real is the impact of the multi-story buildings on the volume of the train horn we experience. Will these buildings reflect and amplify the sound into our neighborhood? I understand that you are considering creating a train quiet zone in Menlo Park. We would like to express our support for this zone, which will certainly improve our quality of life.
