My name is Tyler, and I spoke during the Public Comment period of last nights City Council Meeting to introduce CivicBell. To briefly reiterate, CivicBell is an online social media alternative civic engagement platform. The platform is purpose-built for productive civic engagement, taking extra steps to ensure a higher quality discourse exists between local government and residents of their municipalities. Were based just down the road in Palo Alto and have a growing presence in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties. CCd are Will and Anthony, our founders.
Im writing to offer myself as a point-of-contact to assist members of the Council to get set up and acquainted with CivicBell. As the number of officials using the platform continues to grow, weve recently created my role to provide officials a dedicated line of support in formulating post ideas, managing online civic discourse, and onboarding constituents to see your posts on CivicBell.
Please let me know if I can assist you in any of these areas or if there is anything else I can do to help improve the productivity of your online civic engagement. If able, Id love to briefly meet with anyone interested over Teams to further introduce myself and learn more about the challenges facing Menlo Park.
