I am writing concerning the installation of speed bumps on Marmona and surrounding streets. I live near these streets and I am not a fan of speed bumps. I question how efficient they are in slowing and discouraging traffic. They may encourage drivers to use nearby streets thus moving the traffic problem to another area. I would prefer a trial run of no right turns between 3pm and7pm from Middlefield onto Woodland and anther one from Willow onto Blackburn. Clover already has a semi-barrier. Two signs would be less expensive than 11 speed bumps and probably have a more positive impact on the neighborhood.
