I would like to submit this written comment in advance on the meeting on the 29th.
I am a resident of Coleman ave and am very strongly opposed to the removal of parking on the north side of the street. I dont know where friends and family will park when they visit. I regularly have visitors but if there is nowhere for them to park I suspect this will not be able to continue.
The addition of a bike lane seems totally unnecessary. I am a life long cyclist, riding thousands of miles each year, and have done extended bike tours across Europe and the Americas. Ive seen dangerous roads for bikes, and this is not one of them. The speed and density of cars is not enough to justify the cost relative to the benefit.
I have not seen or heard good arguments for the addition of the bike line and removal of the parking. Therefore, until these arguments are provided I strongly oppose this change.
