To the members of city council,
I live in the willows and regularly cycle to work down Coleman as students are using the corridor to get to school.
I believe the issue of Coleman can be boiled down to a simple question: what is more important, the safety of schoolchildren in our community, or the convenience of drivers? In my eyes this couldn’t be more obvious.
I urge the council to act to adopt the proposed plan as soon as possible. Inaction on this issue is in effect action to the benefit of drivers and to the detriment of our communities children. I sincerely hope we can fix this before the tragedy of a fatal accident occurs, which is indeed only a matter of time in the current state.
