San Francisco, a city that prides itself on its neighborhoods, has never seen anything like the one taking shape south of Market Street right now. http://projects.sfchronicle.com/2017/transbay-terminal/the-future/ Sent from Mail for Windows 10 ?Sorry to be filling your inbox, but this 2nd copy of an article from the SFChronicle is something you should see. Make sure the last choice across the top “The Future” is selected, then start scanning down the article. About a 1/3 of the way down is a picture of the Woodlands Market (with Sushi). Reminds me of the Connect Menlo promise of the “market”. Except in the article, the Cheng’s rely on Costco (12 blocks away) or the Safeway in Mission Bay. Sounds a lot like our local reality here. About ¾ of the way down the article are 5 audio tours narrated by John King, the Chronicle urban design critic. These are well worth listening to. Regards, Steve Van Pelt PS: this copy is forwarded from my subscription to the SFChron which should make this copy work. The first one was a forward of an e-mail from someone else and it most probably won’t work. Received on Sun Dec 31 2017 - 13:47:41 PST
