Dear City Council,
Why would Council move forward with RFPs to destroy downtown parking when a far better solution—Parkline—is already in your hands?
Issuing RFPs now, with a lawsuit pending and a voter initiative gaining widespread support, is reckless. Parkline provides new housing, affordable units, and economic growth without sacrificing our vital downtown infrastructure. Replacing parking with housing will only alienate residents, hurt small businesses and ignite more division.
This is your opportunity to demonstrate vision and integrity. Don’t gamble with the heart of our city.
