Esteemed City Council Members,
I am a 10+ year resident of Menlo Park. I am very concerned about the prospect of losing 3 parking lots which are very well utilized to downtown housing. While we desperately need additional housing units in Menlo Park, downtown is not the place to do it, because the 3 years that it would take to build it (not including the time spent arguing over it) would cause businesses to leave or go bankrupt, leaving all Menlo Park residents with less than it started. Please help our downtown businesses keep their often precarious businesses alive, especially during this time of economic uncertainty.
