As a neighbor of yours in Palo Alto, I am writing to strongly encourage you to continue moving forward with housing on city-owned parking lots in downtown Menlo Park. The future residents in these homes will be your biggest champions for a thriving downtown community. They will be repeat customers at local businesses; they will be exceptional students at your schools; they will make downtown more beautiful and safe; they will be proud supporters of environmentally-friendly, people-first transit.
