Dear Menlo Park City Council and City Councilmember Schmidt,
I think my email subject says it all, but please do not eliminate the Quiet
Zone from the city budget. Many of the businesses I shop at and my
neighbors in Felton Gables - not to mention thousands of others around the
city - have been advocating for a Quiet Zone for years. On the cusp of the
engineering designs being complete, the Quiet Zone cannot be eliminated
from the budget. And certainly this kind of move which could negatively
impact the quality of life of so many in the City, should not be
contemplated with such little public notice or warning.
