Dear City Council,
I have just learned of plans to eliminate the quiet zone from the Menlo
Park City budget planning. We have been requesting a quiet zone for years
-- it is a top priority for the city and for me personally as a voter. The
engineering plans are nearly complete and progress has been made on this
issue by both Palo Alto and Atherton. It would be outrageous to pull this
issue now.
I will be sure to attend tomorrows city council meeting to register my
support of the quiet zone as I have in the past.
