Did you know there was a historic building in Redwood Shores from which General McArthur’s “I Shall Return” broadcast was transmitted throughout Asia during World War II? The building currently houses Silicon Valley Clean Water and the Gaspar de Portola Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution invite you to the dedication of a historic marker honoring the history of the radio station and building.
We hope you will join us for a brief ceremony to commemorate the important and interesting history of this beautiful building and the radio station it once housed. We encourage you to share this invitation with anyone you feel would like to attend.
