Dear Menlo Park City Council members,
As a long-time environmentalist, I send my wholehearted support for the Environmental Quality Commission's recent recommendations regarding building electrification. The report accurately reflects the steps needed to electrify Menlo Park's buildings and
phase out gas appliances through an equitable plan. Obviously, this action is critical right now. By supporting these policies, Menlo Park will be making the proper move to work against global warming; it may even be too late.
Please accept the EQC's recommendations at the upcoming city council meeting.
