Hello, Please take additional time to consider and research other much better car alternatives that will be better for our environment, city, and the next generation. The cars that are being considered have low mpg ratings and will not serve our community well - nor be aligned with our values to take care of our environment. Please take time and do not approve to investing $500K in police cars that pollute our environment during our on-going climate crisis. There are a lot of great investment options to achieve clean energy and be efficient. Perhaps, contact Tesla who builds the cars locally or contact other car companies to understand options that could be pursued for a fleet of cars for the police department as they have more leasing and buy options.
