I am in thoroughly in support of a citywide nonresidential development, as well as in support of a broader development moratorium for the Bayside neighborhood. I believe the community worked with the city in 2012 and 2016 to map out expectations and values for planning development for the next 2 decades. It is shocking to me that developers were allowed to blow through 20 years of development in only 3 years. Please do not ignore the will of the voters of Menlo Park, by allowing for massive developments beyond the scope of what was thoughtfully laid out in 2012 and 2016. Instead please focus efforts on addressing traffic and housing issues, so we can cross town in less than half an hour during commute hour, and so that grocery store workers, teachers, construction workers etc, are not forced to live in RVs in the Safeway parking lot, and to ensure that we have space for all students in schools, and adequate support services for residents. > > > > > > > > > > > > Received on Tue Jun 11 2019 - 15:09:16 PDT
