Dear Council Members,
My name is Marta Solsona, a Menlo Park resident since 2006. I would like to share my experience with the gymnastics team Menlo Sparks.
Ten years ago my daughter Nuria attended a competitive gymnastics club (Airborne) in Sunnyvale and after few years driving back and forward from Menlo Park to Sunnyvale we decided to move gyms and Nuria joined Menlo Sparks. We were very surprised by how competitive and well organized the club was . The Menlo Sparks team and coaches were super friendly, fun, profesional and always ready to help the gymnasts realize their potential. Coach Savina is a great coach and she did a good job motivating the gymnasts and preparing them for all the meets. My daughter Nuria loved her coaches and the team and enjoyed every second of it. In my opinion Coach Savina and her team are a perfect for Menlo Park and our athlete children because of their personal attention and small group atmosphere. I wish the Menlo Sparks can return and I hope one day I will be able to enroll my youngest daughter Maya to this wonderful program.
As a Menlo Park resident I would like to see the Menlo Sparks gymnastics team back to the gym!
