Dear City Council I have recently seen the proposed development on El Camino at the end of Harvard/Cambridge and would like to share my thoughts for your consideration in the approval of this development. As you know Allied Arts is a nice residential community with a variety of mostly smaller cottage style homes where people walk their dogs and kids play in the street. The new development is a complete eye-sore for our community. I can see it might look good downtown San Francisco but such a large, boxy, modern building that’s bursting onto the sidewalk, just does not fit with the style of our neighborhood at all. Please, please push for a design that will seemlessly integrate into the look and feel of Allied Arts.
