Hello Council,
Im writing today to inquire about putting speed bumps on Gilbert. As a resident with small children I am concerned about vehicles speeding down Gilbert. This happens daily and puts not only my kids, but the lives of hundreds of other school age kids at risk. Gilbert is a primary route toward Laurel Elementary and is trafficked by hundreds of kids daily. Today there was a terrible car accident on the corner of Gilbert and Pope. We are simply lucky that there were no children in the area. A speeding driver on Gilbert is the culprit - and speed bumps would reduce this risk.
How can we make a strong case to have this considered?
