Good Evening All: We are long time customers of Feldman's Books, both when we lived in Foster City and now that we have relocated to Oakland. Oakland is fortunate to have a thriving independent bookseller community, and this shows how a community will support and patronize an independent used bookstore. We feel strongly that saving Feldman's will add measurably to a balance in Menlo Park, which is developing such large scale properties. Of course new housing is needed, but there are plenty of successful mixed use properties as well. Please seriously consider an alternative that will save the bookstore.
