Honorable Mayor Taylor and Esteemed Council Members: Prince William and Kate are planning to visit MENLO PARK'S Sister City, Galway, Ireland tomorrow, Thursday, March 5, 2020. This is partly due to Galway being selected as the EUROPEAN CAPITAL OF CULTURE 2020. During the day they will be visiting various parts of the city. Mayor Michael Cubbard (who is expected to travel to the U.S. next week) will be the host, along with other City Council members, the city manager, etc. If you happen to be in Galway, Ireland tomorrow, I'll do my best to introduce you to Prince William and Kate Middleton. I'm told they are quite approachable and very much admired. Otherwise, you and your family are very much welcome anytime to enjoy the many activities being offered during this very special year.
