We havent even considered this yet? A councilmember brought up that San Jose was considering and we agreed to wait and see what they did ? With kind regards, Ray Mueller (please excuse odd punctuation. my laptop does not always work well with the City's email system.) ________________________________________ From: mnelson_at_(domainremoved) Sent: Wednesday, March 11, 2020 9:50 AM To: _CCIN Subject: Amend AB1482 To whom it may concern, I am a housing provider in the bay and am highly disappointed to hear about the consideration of taking our right to evict a tenant based on ?non-payment of rent?. Let me propose something to you: how about all housing providers don?t pay property taxes because Covid-19 is here - cause Covid-19 does not know how to discriminate like you guys; hence even I can contract this life threatening virus. Secondly, if a housing provider or its family contracts this virus, can we not do any repairs for the rentals that we manage? Thirdly, everything is uncertain these days, hence saving up makes sense- can we cut-off owner paid utilities as it makes sense that we save. This one sided behavior will only prompt more units off the market. Better get a hold of yourself, Nelson Received on Wed Mar 11 2020 - 12:41:37 PDT
