Hello Mayor and Council Members,
Car-brained fanatics rant and rave about the need for MORE parking for new developments off of downtowns. Developers respond by adding more parking which ends up grossly underutilized. Wheeler Plaza in San Carlos, San Mateo’s Kiku Crossing, Springline, and Box HQ in Redwood City just to name a few. Don’t give into idle threats that more parking is key to a downtown’s vitality. Other cities have proven otherwise.
