meeting accessibility

Hello city council members and city clerk, This is Kevin Gallagher, Menlo Park resident. I have a brief question for you about city council meeting acces. I am wondering if it would be possible for us to add a dial-in option for city council meetings that folks can call without having to download an app. My understanding of the current situation is that if you want to watch or listen to virtual meetings, you can do so by: - Using your computer and accessing through the web browser or GoToMeeting app - Using your phone and downloading the mobile GoToMeeting app I'm sure there are at least some folks in MP for whom downloading an app onto their phone is a barrier. I imagine if folks had the option of a phone number they could dial and thus be connected to the meeting, that attendance would rise. This isn't a particularly groundbreaking idea, so I'm guessing it's already been discussed and there are maybe technical barriers involving the software that is used to conduct these meetings. But I'd appreciate if it could be considered or reconsidered. I think we've been having some really valuable discussions recently and I know we all want as many people as possible to be involved in those. Thanks in advance!
