Dear Menlo Park City council members,
Im writing to urge your all to cast a "NO" vote this Tuesday on the
proposed newsrack fee measure. Newspapers such as the Almanac, Daily Post,
etc are essential in covering local news and connecting and engaging our MP
community. I consider them an foundational free public service that keeps
democracy alive on a local level. Printed News outlets have been facing
financial hardships while serving a noble and indispensable democratic
purpose. I urge you all to vote down this proposed measure unanimously.
