I have one quick question. Since you seem to be approving of housing developments close to public transportation, why don’t these new developments have more low income housing in their plans (ie: Parkline, USGS and Comerica Bank). Is it the builders that are fighting this because they can’t make enough profit? Does all low income housing have to look like tenement buildings?
I think many of your constituents would approve of smaller developments of low income housing scattered throughout the city, or is that just too much “pie in the sky”.
Please consider what the loss of convenient parking and gridlock will do to ruin the ambiance of downtown.
