Dear Menlo Park City Council:
I just heard that you have made the courageous decision to not to approve the proposed 80 Willow Road project under the terms recently set forth by the California Attorney Generals office.
I know this has not been an easy decision, but I believe that in making it, you are acting in the best interest of your community. And isnt that what your job should be about? I think so. The developer certainly isnt interested in the community. What motivation could be theirs except greed?
I wish you the best as this goes forward. I live in Palo Alto, not Menlo Park, but I am so proud of your decision.
