Dear City Council Members,
I am writing to you today in regards to the vacancy left by the departure of Ray Mueller. Ray was an asset to the Menlo Park City Council and I am sad to see him go. I know there are several applicants for the open position and I would like to recommend Catherine Carlton for the opening. I believe Catherine is the only candidate who has been previously elected to serve on the Menlo Park City Council and who has served two terms in the past. I believe she would be an excellent replacement for Ray and would come to the City Council with a deep understanding of the working of the city. Catherine and I have worked for the past few years on the Menlo Park Sister Cities organization and I cannot think of anyone who I would recommend more to represent District 5 on the City Council.
